Your work requirement may be fulfilled by working in the store or by committee work. Below are the latest committee opportunities – along with contact details.

1. Deep Cleaner: Someone to come in on Mondays to deep clean the coop. This is a job that is approximately 2 hours every other week. Falls in the Store Committee. Ideally would be two people working two hours every other week each, or 4 people doing 4 hours of work once per week) Ongoing

1. Event researcher – Research opportunities at neighborhood public events for tabling Ongoing
2. Members to table at events- hand out flyers and talk to people about the perks of being a coop member Ongoing

1. A technology person who deals with hardware within the store (network, computers, new purchases, upgrades, etc) Ongoing
2. A technology person/web developer to work with our website to update it, change website hosts, deal with any online issues Ongoing
3. Someone to coordinate Database/*POS work, including writing script to allow access to the database in easy to use web pages (aka, inventory, sales, etc, so these can be run via a website and not just through the POS system.) Ongoing

1. Vendor contacts – Develop a relationship with specific vendors i.e. researching products with them, asking them questions, following up on issues, ordering Ongoing

1. Suspended-alert emailer: at the end of each cycle calculate status updates in the Excel database. Send out suspended-alert email to those whose statuses are “work alert” or “suspended”. Ongoing

3. Orientation helpers: Give potential new members information about the coop and sign them up for their memberships! Requires speaking in front of small groups, a knowledge of Google Docs, and familiarity with the POS. Shifts are usually Sunday from 11:30am to 2:30pm or Mondays from 6.30pm to 9.30pm Ongoing
